Refurbishment and extension of Minerva House, a 1980s workplace on the Thames Embankment, reusing the existing façade, floorplates and basement while increasing the commercial space on the site by up to 53%.

Three floors are being added above the existing reinforced concrete structure, 75% of which is being retained.
Re-coring to improve circulation
By reconfiguring the cores, the internal circulation is significantly improved, and the existing stability system is strengthened to accommodate additional massing.
Extending the floorplates
The floorplates are being extended laterally across each floor, helping to increase the commercial space by up to 53%.
New public realm
A new public walk-through with a double-height entrance will connect Southwark Cathedral and the Golden Hinde.
