Andy Tyler

Andy heads up Geotechnical Engineering at Heyne Tillett Steel and has 20 years’ experience. The collaborative nature of his interdisciplinary role is what he finds most rewarding, streamlining in-house problem solving and enhancing efficiencies at each design stage. Andy and his team produce site investigation specifications, preliminary foundation and retaining wall designs, earthworks specifications, slope stability assessments, and Thames Water and LUL asset assessments.

With his expertise in the application and interpretation of site investigations in the UK, he focuses on the growing importance of foundation re-use, particularly in London, for commercial and residential projects.
