BCO x HTS: 76 Southbank

This week, Heyne Tillett Steel’s Andrew Middlebrook led a tour of 76 Southbank with Stefan Rust from Allford Hall Monaghan Morris.

Showcasing the building to British Council for Offices members, attendees got to take a look around the Grade II listed building, including the foyer. This was originally an entrance for cars which has been transformed into a double height, open space for pedestrians.

They also saw a typical office floor at the top of the building and its extended, wraparound terraces. From there, the group overlooked the Thames and the city to conclude the morning.

As the BCO National awards are announced from in the next couple of weeks, it was great to show members the project in person, which retains 80% of the existing structure and adds 40% additional area.
