The refurbishment of a Grade II-listed former town hall, library and museum following significant fire damage in 2013 repurposed to house workspaces for independent creatives. The site comprises several 19th and 20th-century public buildings with basements.

The site is being extended and infilled in various places to maximise public facilities.

Reinstating former viewing gallery

The former council chambers viewing gallery is being reinstated below a clear spanning exposed timber trussed roof.

Enhancing accessibility

The internal configuration is designed to optimise practical and accessible circulation across the heritage buildings.
