Feature

Key features

Dramatic cantilevered structure

The 13m-high cantilevering canopy is made from exposed glulam timber beams with glazing, with 111 tonnes CO2e sequestered by specifying timber for the structure.

Future-focused flexibility

The structure was designed to enable flexibility and for adjoining plots to be developed with minimal impact on the operation of the station.

Offset column grid

The column grid is offset from the centre to allow a clear pedestrian route through the multi-level entrance.

Enhancing public realm

Part of the Brent Cross South masterplan, the design provides an open public space which flows towards the future Station Square plot.
