Responding to the existing structure
The structural solution is based on a detailed analysis of the existing structural arrangement to minimise structural works required.

Cascading blue roofs attenuate surface water at high level, achieving greenfield run-off rates and avoiding any tank-based solutions or pumping water into the sewer.

The site involves occupied buildings and sits above proposed Crossrail 2 tunnels, so structural solutions prioritise constructability and future-proofing.
