Introducing cycling infrastructure on existing road

A new cycle lane was retrofitted, including junction and track design, to facilitate the borough’s Walking and Cycling Action Plan.

Appraising parking capacity

HTS undertook an appraisal of the parking capacity in the area.

Public consultation

The proposals were presented at public consultations and discussed with local neighbourhood groups.

Implementation of School Streets

HTS identified opportunities for pedestrian improvements adjacent to three local schools, including new crossings, widened footpaths and new Traffic Regulations Orders.
