A 10x10m steel frame column grid with a 5.5m internal height enables flexible, clear space that’s adaptable for a long life.
High design load capacity
Floors designed for loads between 25 and 15kPa to accommodate high storage capacity and vehicle loadings.
20m-clear spans over loading bays
HGV movement routes at ground floor require 20m-clear spans areas to the loading bays created with deep beam transfers.
Ground improvement strategy
Poor quality existing ground conditions were overcome through ground improvements using rigid inclusion piling.
