Leo Youngman
Associate
Leo is an Associate Structural Engineer at Heyne Tillett Steel with a decade of industry experience. He joined the practice in 2021, became chartered in 2023 and was promoted to Associate in early 2026.
He co-leads the HTS in-house IStructE exam training course. His dedicated mentorship has helped some 20 engineers gain chartership over the last few years.
With cross-sector experience, especially working in heritage contexts, he’s delivered commercial office/hotel/retail, residential and public sector projects. Leo has worked on a mix of refurbishment and new build schemes at all design and construction stages.
