Gordon Armstrong-Payne

As one of Heyne Tillett Steel’s Senior Associates, Gordon is passionate about the adaptive reuse of existing structures. His experience spans from early conceptual stages through to completion on diverse commercial, residential, hotel and education projects, and he takes a keen interest in the buildability aspect of projects.

Gordon particularly enjoys working with wider design teams to develop elegant yet efficient solutions for multifaceted engineering challenges, alongside collaborating with project teams to resolve site-based issues. He’s currently delivering a 14-storey over station development in Southwark, involving a steel-framed structure supported on existing foundations atop various below ground assets.
