Demolition of an existing 1960’s RC frame and construction of a new nine-storey steel framed mixed use office and retail building along Oxford Street. 

Key Features 

• The proposed superstructure is 9 storey steelwork frame supporting composite slab
• The existing basement is to be extended by a further level to increase functionality and area of building.
• Close proximity to adjoining structures and London Underground assets require close collaboration with tunnel asset holders and the design to be developed in a such a way as to minimise the impact ton the tunnels.
• The existing cantilever slab over the adjacent walkway is being retained in the temporary and permanent condition via new steel cantilever beams off the main frame.
