2812 - Victoria House
London Borough of Camden
Victoria House is a Grade II Listed building originally constructed in the late 1920’s for Liverpool and Victoria Friendly Society. Currently used as an office building we will be converting it into a life sciences hub with lab enabled office across all floors.
Key Features
- Historic concrete encased steel framed structure with troughed concrete slab floors, which sits nine stories above ground with two basement levels.
- Thorough investigation of the existing building to justify and confirm increased load capacities of floors and vibration criteria for laboratory uses.
- Developing non-intrusive and reversible methods of improving floor vibration response, which can be installed as required by the incoming tenants.
- Construction works scheduled to be undertaken in three phases around retained tenants.
