Key Features

• New build RC frame building up to 8 storeys with single storey basement providing 190,000 sqft of residential space and 13,500 sqft of retail space.

• Façade retention of 1930’s Victorian theatre, restrained by new RC frame.

• Structural movement joints separate the RC frame into seven independently stabilised sections, with shear dowels connecting across the movement joints.

• Slipform and jumpform construction methods utilised to construct the seven RC cores of the building.

• 72m3 buried attenuation tank constructed below the basement slab and oversized 1200dia. drainage pipes to provide surface water attenuation.
