Situated on Royal College Street, Camden, a new healthcare building has been designed as a step down care facility aimed at improving patient wellbeing and will comprise residential care units, social space and biodiverse roof terraces.

• The building encompasses a strong architectural vision and spans a plan area of 70x20m, including a basement
• While designed primarily for healthcare wards, the project has a focus on future adaptability and features flexible design solutions suited to a range of possible healthcare uses
• A series of creative engineering solutions have been developed to accommodate long spans, a transfer structure and stringent vibration criteria
• Optioneering, investigations and collaboration across the project team lie at the heart of the project
