1862 - Hornsey Town Hall

Hornsey Town Hall, comprising a Grade II* and Grade II listed building is being sensitively restored and converted into a community arts space and hotel. Two new residential blocks will be constructed at the rear of the site providing 120 new homes.
Key features
- Previous engineering design has been rationalised, saving the project approximately £4m
- Eliminated bored piles across the site
- Reduced the size of SuDS attenuation tank through negotiation with Thames Water
- The Grade II* listed town hall building is being extended with new floors added
- The existing theatre has been converted into a cinema involving significant modification to the existing cantilever balconies, while the building’s assembly hall has been refurbished to increase its capacity to 400
- The historic elements of the building such as the assembly hall, foyer and committee rooms will be restored and made available for public use
