This refurbishment and extension of an existing warehouse building to provide approximately 50,000 sqft of new coworking office space. The existing building is to be retained and extended by a single storey with a new 6-storey rear extension to the rear maximising the area of the site. A new basement will be provided under the new build section. The proposed building is predominately comprised of a reinforced concrete frame, with flat slab construction and exposed concrete soffits and columns. The top storey which will be constructed using a lightweight steel frame. The foundations are to be piled, with secant piles forming the basement box.
