1606 - East India Dock Public Realm

East India Dock Public Realm is the second phase in the Republic Masterplan, providing green and biodiverse landscapes for tenants and communities alike. Previously in use as a car parking area, the new public realm features weirs and water features alongside a series of timber pavilions running the length of the Import and Export buildings.

Key Features

• Provision of flexible outdoor workspaces including newly planted trees, shrubs and aquatic flora.

• New weirs and water features were incorporated into the East India Docks which aerate the water and provide a health natural environment.
