2389 - 3 Sheldon Square
City of Westminster
The extensive refurbishment of an existing 1980s steel framed building in Paddington to a high quality, contemporary workplace.
Key Features
- Lightweight balconies on each floor are supported by Macalloy tension bars hung from a cantilever crown steel frame. Together with the hanging gardens, they create approximately 500 sqm of additional outdoor amenity space and natural shading to office occupants.
- Discreet structural strengthening to the existing steel frame has been used to allow the balconies to be installed on the edge of the building.
- Cat A refurbishment throughout.
- Reimagined statement reception area with new external hanging signage and branding.
