A new-build commercial development on a vacant brownfield site in Southwark, located adjacent to a Network Rail viaduct and close to London Underground Jubilee line tunnels.

Key Features  

• Four storey RC framed construction, featuring 2 inclined steel columns supporting a transfer slab over the entrance courtyard. 

• RC frame is exposed throughout and special finishes and mock-ups were specified. 

• Water-filled heating & cooling pipes were cast into RC floor slabs, utilising thermal mass of the structure. 

• Foundations are piled, and monitoring was carried out to the viaduct and tunnels during construction.
