Khizer has significant experience developing intelligent solutions that positively contribute to the client’s aspirations on a diverse range of projects, whilst driving sustainable, elegant, and buildable designs.

Khizer has successfully incorporated innovative, cost-effective solutions for projects working within in a multi-disciplinary environment and with stakeholders at all levels. He has valuable experience in a range of sectors including hotels, life-science, education, sports, and leisure, commercial and residential. Utilising the capabilities developed over his career, he has helped to add value to the design and construction of new build and refurbishment projects with a focus on sustainability throughout the project life cycle.

Khizer is currently leading the refurbishment at 200 Grays Inn Road, an iconic Norman Fosters building, which will have key architecturally exposed interventions, including a mass timber pavilion at the roof level with an exposed soffit, complex feature stair and mass timber infills on typical floors. Khizer's previous work includes the refurbishment of three Grade II listed 18th century Georgian terraces, one of which was a four-storey building with an existing basement that experienced significant water ingress resulting in degradation to the existing timber and masonry structures. Khizer worked closely with the contractor and design team to repair and reinstate the structure, whilst improving on the amenities within each building for new commercial tenants.

After graduating from the University of Manchester in 2013, Khizer joined Ramboll UK, then joined Heyne Tillett Steel in 2020.
