Gustaf Granstrom-Steer

Gustaf is an enthusiastic engineer with a unique and proactive approach to design, collaboration and investigation. He has a broad base of experience working on new-build and refurbishment projects in commercial, residential, educational and retail sectors.

Gustaf has worked on large new-build projects including central London timber office buildings, Argent’s residential development in Kings Cross, Exemplar’s London Fruit and Wool commercial development in Spitalfields and Aviva’s Nuffield and Pegasus House on Piccadilly. He has also worked on a number of refurbishment projects such as a development over the original Kings Cross train station, the 1900s KOKO theatre building in Camden, and several refurbishments of listed buildings for The Crown Estate.

Gustaf passed his chartership exams within four years after graduating with an MEng from the University of Bath and likes to take on challenges head on. He chairs the company’s timber focus group, and enjoys working with timber in all its forms from designing engineered timber buildings to modular construction to restoration of historic oak structures.
