Alexander is an associate at HTS with experience across a range of sectors. He is passionate about developing sustainable and efficient engineering solutions for a range of project types. Alexander strives to develop structural proposals to take advantage of opportunities and conditions found on existing sites by working closely with both the site, and design teams.

Since joining HTS in January 2020, Alexander has worked on the delivery of several projects from ranging from complex refurbishments to large new-build developments. The project list includes; Arthur Stanley House, a complex refurbishment and extension of an office building in Fitzrovia, 135 Park Street, a new-build RC frame in Southwark with the challenge to meet the RIBA and LETI 2030 targets and Minerva House, the refurbishment of the 1980’s RC frame on the bank of the Thames with GPE.

After graduating he spent four years working for Tony Gee and Partners designing Abbey Wood Crossrail Station including a 14-month site secondment working directly with the RC and Glulam Timber Subcontractor on site where he developed a keen eye for the buildability of different schemes. Eager to work with leading architects, Alexander went on to work for Elliott Wood as a project engineer and worked in a number of sectors including private and mass residential and leisure. While at Elliott Wood Alexander was the Senior Engineer on the refurbishment and three-storey roof extension of the Old War Office, an existing government office building in Whitehall to luxury apartments and a 5 Star Plus hotel.
