Work has started on site at 70 Wilson Street, with the installation of the crane on the roof of the existing building, commencement of internal alterations and new steelwork beginning to arrive on site.
The project, working alongside achitects AStudio, comprises the refurbishment of a 1980s steel framed office building in Shoreditch to provide high-quality office space for developers Stanhope, working in partnership with Low Carbon Workplace. The low-energy building features two new storeys of 'stacked boxes' with the 6th floor cantilevering over the 5th floor below. The office space and extensive roof terrace at 6th floor level provide stunning views over London.
