This week we’re celebrating a major milestone for Shoreditch Village Phase 2, with the main steel-frame structure officially topping out. Progressing fast on site, the cladding panels are continuing to be installed to form the building’s distinctive facades.
Designed with AHMM for our client, Brockton Capital, the project will create two new flexible office and retail buildings with a glazed connection structure. Inspired by the site’s industrial heritage, the steel frame exoskeleton will be left exposed to form the building’s distinctive facades. Complex structural and architectural arrangements have been designed to create a building which responds to its surrounding urban context and numerous constraints.
