Charterhouse Science and Maths Centre has topped out - marked by the lifting-in of the three chimney cowls.
The new centre is comprised of a new two storey extension to an existing listed building to provide chemistry facilities. The building is constructed with a reinforced concrete box to first floor, an external steel colonnade and an exposed CLT structure above creating a complex geometric roof on a >8m grid, by Design Engine Architects.
