Taking place on Tuesday 2 November, the second in our sustainability talks series ‘Designing in Timber’ will focus on the benefits and challenges to building in timber. The discussions will cover how to design in timber including considerations such as water, fire, vibrations, cost, carbon and procurement; where and how timber can best be used and how we can give clients, contractors and end-users the confidence to specify timber in more buildings.
Alongside HTS’s Director and Timber Lead Andy Heyne, we will be joined by Stephen Hodder, Chairman of Hodder+Partners, Andrew King, Director at Constructional Timber and fire engineers and specialists from across the timber industry.
