Director Mark Tillett spoke at Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) UK Future Leaders panel session, on the topic of "Reuse & Adaptability: Are we doing enough?"
Mark discussed the evolution and process of successful refurbishment, and his vision for a genuinely sustainable construction industry. Using 76 Upper Ground as a case study.He stressed the huge impact all construction industry professionals have on carbon emissions compared to members of the general public and the moral responsibility which comes with that to do the right thing.
Other speakers included Nick Jarman, Project Director, Stanhope PLC, Dan Hagan, Director & MMC Lead, WSP and Jo Wright, Director, Architecture at Arup, with the talk moderated by Fiona Edmond Partner, Charles Russell Speechlys.
