To celebrate International Women’s Day this Sunday we are profiling some of the amazing women in our office.
Suzie Snell joined HTS in 2017 initially as maternity cover for our Practice Manager and then taking on the role of Operations Manager, ensuring that all and every aspect of our office runs smoothly. Having worked for leading London design and communications consultancies including Bostock & Pollitt, Smith + Milton and Purpose, Suzie has extensive experience of managing creative people and teams, undertaking all facilities management, dealing with suppliers and organising social events. All of which is needed to organise and manage HTS and our team of over 110 staff.
One of Suzie’s many skills is her exceptional communication, she can speak to everyone, no matter who they are or where they come from. She brings people together and motivates them through her amazing sense of humour. The sound of her laughter is an essential part of the practice and personifies the culture of fun and enjoyment at Heyne Tillett Steel.
“Most of my career has been spent in the creative industries where, unsurprisingly, being surrounded by inspirational and creative women is not unusual and HTS is no different. Female engineers at the practice form part of what is, a creative, inclusive and design-led process that produces amazing work in an environment which nurtures creative and independent thinking.
Part of what makes HTS special for me is the way the staff are treated, from healthy lunches to annual trips, mentorship and flexi-working for young parents – staff know that their wellbeing does matter.”
