This year’s HTS mountain bike expedition saw six engineers launch a valiant attempt to climb Snowdon. After a hard fought 750m climb, they were forced to turn back due to gale force sidewinds along an exposed ridge on the Llanberis Path.

After battling the elements on day one, the wind-battered riders completed The Beast, a 35km trail ride with 1100m of climbing through the beautiful surroundings of Coed y Brenin Forest Park.

Well done to all the riders for making it through this challenging trail, despite the weather
