We were thrilled to see the completed Velodrome at the opening day in Herne Hill.
The design by Hopkins Architects features a new two-storey pavilion to replace the derelict Victorian structure. The velodrome is the UK’s oldest and has been the home of track cycling in London for over 120 years. It is also the last remaining venue still in operation from the 1948 Olympic Games.
We can't wait to try it out ourselves!
