We are delighted that planning permission has been granted for Blackwall Reach Phase 3, a residential development with C.F. Moller for Swan Housing.
The project involves the redevelopment of Robin Hood Gardens East to provide 320 new homes for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Each of the four blocks will be constructed using steel volumetric modular units to reduce the on-site programme and material waste.
Commenting on the scheme, Swan Housing chief executive John Synnuck said: ‘Phase three will cement Blackwall Reach’s position as one of the most significant transformative regeneration projects in London. As well as more than 300 new homes, it will bring the preservation and enhancement of such high-quality public space in the city, which is so essential in a post-COVID world.’
The project forms part of the wider Blackwall Reach Masterplan with the tenure split between social and private lets. Working with Howarth Tompkins and C.F. Moller, HTS is currently working on the delivery of Phase 2, now under construction.
