Last week team Steel visited 'Engineering the World: Ove Arup and the Philosophy of Total Design' exhibited at the V&A Museum.
Focussing on Ove Arup’s philosophy of total design, we explored previously unseen archival materials for large scale projects, including the Sydney Opera House.
Whilst there we also walked through the impressive Elytra Filament Pavilion, which has been created by German architect Achim Menges with Moritz Dörstelmann, alongside structural engineer Jan Knippers and climate engineer Thomas Auer.
