Team Heyne enjoyed a site visit to the new build project at Cambridge Road in Barking last week.
The scheme by Studio Egret West for Swan Housing comprises four interlinked residential towers reaching twenty seven storeys high and incorporates roof terraces for residents.
The project is progressing well with the first floor transfer complete on the first half of the scheme and the post-tensioned floor slabs already at third floor. The second half of the structure will shortly be out of the ground. The introduction of pre-cast columns above level six will increase the rate of the construction and the structure should be complete by the middle of 2018.
