Our Brunel Engine Shed project designed with Hawkins/Brown architects has been featured in the latest issue of Railway Heritage Magazine.
The project is an extension to a Grade II Listed Victorian Brunel Railway Shed in High Wycombe. The project extends the existing form with new engineered timber frames in the spirit of the original build, providing new community and flexible work spaces.
Speaking to Railway Heritage, director Andy Heyne said:
‘Restoring the existing fabric is a wonderful challenge. The timber is in great condition for its age, and the structure of the extension takes inspiration from Brunel's continuous pursuit of innovation’
