Birmingham Methodist Central Hall gets planning approval.

Delighted to announce that our Birmingham Methodist Central Hall project with TODD Architects has received planning approval from Birmingham City Council.

The existing building is a Grade II* listed terracotta clad Methodist hall, which was occupied by the iconic Birmingham Techno venue the Que Club throughout the 90’s. Works will include the repurposing of the original auditorium to an events space, along with a 150 bedroom hotel with 8 new bars and restaurants.

This project is being led by our Manchester office.

Associate Director David Miller, who runs our Manchester office said "We are delighted to be working with such a beautiful and iconic building. The building has strong cultural history but has sadly suffered with neglect over recent years. Achieving planning with such a fantastic and challenging scheme is a key milestone in bringing it back to life."

We look forward to sharing more information soon.
