To mark this year’s International Women's Day celebrations, HTS hosted a bake sale in aid of ‘Women for Refugee Women’, a charity who works to empower refugee and asylum-seeking women to speak out, become leaders and advocate for change.
Their network helps to combat the isolation faced by women seeking asylum and creates pathways for women to rebuild their lives: a cause we see as especially poignant in light of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
From rainbow cake and cookies to peppermint slices and blondies, our team’s incredible baking efforts have helped to raise over £718 to help support their work.
