HTS and guests had the pleasure of an architectural tour along the Thames this week with specialist guide Benedict O’Looney.
Benedict, a practicing architect and teacher at the Architectural Association, explored the design and history of buildings such as Portcullis House, Somerset House and Houses of Parliament.
The tour also looked at recent riverside architecture as we first ventured downriver to Canary Wharf before heading upriver taking in the Nine Elms development and the new American Embassy.
