35 Chancery Lane phase 1 steelwork installation is complete. The existing 5th floor and roof have been demolished and the steelwork at the eastern end of the building has topped out. Three new storeys have been erected and the new stability vierendeel frame has been installed the full height of the building.
The project is a commercial development involving the refurbishment of an existing five storey steel frame building. New stability systems are being introduced as well as extra floors and lightwells, thus raising the overall height of the building.
In collaboration with architects Tate Hindle the project is due for completion in October 2016 for the client Endurance Land.
