1075 - Dolphin Square

Comprehensive refurbishment of Dolphin Square, an 1100 unit residential complex in Pimlico. The project includes the demolition and reconstruction of the northern wing to provide a new ten storey building with two basement levels; single storey rooftop extensions to the retained and refurbished wings; a new row of townhouses to the Western Carriageway.

Structural works have focussed on:

  • Investigations into the existing superstructure and substructure
  • Realising the potential of the existing foundations and superstructure by justifying their reuse under increased loads with minimal strengthening works
  • Developing a basement design and construction methodology to minimise ground movements and disruption within the estate
