Robert joined Heyne Tillett Steel in 2014 and has worked on a diverse range of refurbishment and new build projects in London. These include a mixed use, 6 storey exposed concrete framed building at Benjamin Street working with AHMM Architects; a 5 storey Premier Inn Hub hotel in Quaker Street, with a full retained façade and adjacent to Network Rail assets and a heavy refurbishment project at the Loom for Helical in an occupied building.
The projects have given Robert extensive experience of designing on constrained sites and close to Network Rail, London Underground and other infrastructure, and he enjoys the challenges that these projects offer. Robert has also gained significant experience in working with concrete and leads the office group on the analysis of concrete structures.
Projects that Robert is currently working on include a 10-storey commercial development at Monmouth House with Duggan Morris Architects for Derwent London.
Robert began working for Halstead Associates and became a chartered member of the IStructE in 2013. He was made an Associate at Heyne Tillett Steel in 2018.
