The refurbishment and extension of Tintagel House has now been completed, transforming the 1970’s old Met Police Headquarters in Vauxhall into a contemporary commercial property for The Office Group.
Working with Stanton Williams Architects and Universal Design Studio, the scheme involved a two storey extension to the Albert Embankment elevation in exposed reinforced concrete (RC), re-routing M&E through the existing RC floorplates, extending the lift shafts, converting the existing 11th floor transfer level plant room into an office space as well as adding a new roof terrace and creating an exclusive event space below the support to the prominent Finial post at the top of the building,
HTS developed a sustainable urban drainage solution and developed a large attenuation scheme in addition to harvesting rain water within the building.
