It has been an exciting week on site at The Gramophone Works as we celebrate topping out and the completion of the CLT structure.
Previously in use as a gramophone factory and recording studio, the existing concrete structure is being refurbished and extended using a lightweight CLT frame. Once complete the building will create a landmark commercial development alongside the Grand Union canal.
Ideally suited to small and medium creative enterprises, the building will feature flexible and functional working areas as well as a canal-side café, communal reception facilities and external green areas at both ground and roof levels.
