HTS + Embodied Carbon Modelling

As part of HTS+ and inspired through our work with the Low Carbon Workplace, Heyne Tillett Steel have developed a ‘Embodied Carbon counter’ tool.

Working in collaboration with several sustainability consultants we have built a database that allows us to assess the overall embodied carbon for our structural designs calculated through our Revit models. This gives us the ability to compare embodied carbon values for various designs informing our clients on the sustainable benefits of each option.

This tool allows us to fully understand the effect our design choices have on the embodied carbon of the project and ultimately help make our designs more sustainable.
