The new playground by Max Dewdney Architects has transformed a disused corner of Waltham Forest Council through an experimental design.
HTS became involved with the 'pocket park' scheme as part of our ongoing CSR initiative.
We were delighted to see the playground (funded by Waltham Forest Council & the local community) open to the public as part of the London Festival of Architecture last Saturday. The day included an open-panel discussion with speakers from the Architecture Foundation, Arup and Apes, coinciding with a Playful City workshop aimed at engaging children with design.
